Curriculum: Ninja FITNESS

 

Central to all our Ninja Stars' training is development of their fitness and athleticism. 

 

A Ninja knows that they need lean, flexible muscles in order to run faster, jump higher and perform their amazing techniques! Every Ninja Stars' class involves both general and specific muscle warm-up and flexibility exercises ensuring your child develops good posture and muscle suppleness and can perform their techniques and activities at their best with minimum risk of injury.

Physical balance is a key component ensuring a Ninja can perform their vast array of skills and techniques at a top level. Your child will practice both balance and body awareness through an entertaining range of activities and challenges that will help develop their perceptial awareness and heighten their athleticism.  

 

In the Art of the Ninja co-ordination and timing is everything. Whether it's drilling self defense techniques, solo practice forms, team calisthenics, or stretching, Ninja Star Kids continuously practice during each activity with an eye to perfecting their over-all body co-ordination and timing.

Ninja are not only fast, skillful and agile, they are also strong! All of our Ninja Star Kids are given instruction and encouragement in developing their physical strength and fitness through proportionate, appropriate exercises and activities that challenge and develop their strength.
