Curriculum: Ninja HEART
A Ninja develops not only the body, but also their hearts & minds. Our Ninja Stars are encourged in 4 areas:
Fairness
Throughout our Ninja Stars' training and practice, we encourage and promote fairness, equality and empathy. Although it is essential to have a healthy level of competitivness between the students, this should not supercede the need for fair-play, peer-support and friendship.
Teamwork
As skilled as Ninja are, every Ninja knows that without help and co-operation from friends, being your very best is hard to do on your own! Our Ninja Star Kids engage in many activities that teach them the value of working together as a team showing them that learning together can be fun, producive and rewarding.
Courtesy
All Ninja Stars know that good manners, or acting in a way that's socially acceptable and respectful will help them to have better relationships with people they know, and new people they'll meet. Students will learn that good manners are both a sign of respect to the people they interact with, and are the means by which they will gain their respect.
Responsibility
Although Ninja are strong and agile, being a Ninja is not about doing what you want, whenever you like. A great Ninja understands about personal responsibility and how their great strength and character can make a positive difference within their families, classrooms, community and enviornment.
